Project Brief

The project calls for a waterfront residential development that embraces its lagoon setting, prioritizing expansive views, communal amenities, and a strong visual and physical connection to the water.

The aim was to craft a living environment where residents feel continuously linked to the landscape — a place defined by openness, interaction, and the gentle rhythm of lagoon life.​

Skai elevates lagoon living by turning the waterfront into the heart of the architectural experience. Composed volumes gently frame unbroken vistas, while terraces, landscaped edges, and shared amenities draw residents outward, encouraging moments of gathering and quiet reflection. The design weaves together indoor and outdoor realms with softness and clarity, using light, water, and coastal textures to shape a serene residential environment — one where community, nature, and daily rituals flow seamlessly together.​

Sculpted waterfront volumes that open clear views and strengthen the relationship between the residences, the lagoon, and shared outdoor spaces.​

Bright, functional interiors defined by natural materials, clean lines, and framed lagoon views that support calm, modern living.​

A selection of lifestyle-focused spaces: SKAI Club, pool, zen garden, gym, kids’ areas, and padel court — designed to enrich daily life and nurture community.​

Design Development

The building rises in tiered, rotated forms that open views and fit naturally with the surroundings, while the podium and outdoor spaces bring residents together.​

“We stepped and separated the volumes to honor the lagoon and preserve the views around us. The lower, forward edge creates a calm, private waterfront, while the tiered forms soften the façade and shape a flowing, connected community along the water.”​
