Project Brief
Façade designs for G+5 residential buildings focus on refined articulation, functional integration, and a contemporary architectural language rooted in Cairo’s culture.
The goal is to elevate mid-rise living with elegance, clarity, and thoughtful attention to both residents’ comfort and the city’s character.
Project Info
The façades express refined vertical rhythms, integrated balconies, and subtle cultural references, blending contemporary elegance with functional clarity.
Design Development
The evolution of the facades shows how vertical articulation, screens, and layering create refined compositions that enhance both aesthetics and everyday living.
Building Facade Design Proposal 1: Vertical motifs form a column-like rhythm, integrating balconies to create a cohesive, elegant, and well-articulated building frontage.
Building Facade Design Proposal 2: A central vertical element emphasizes the main entrance, while staggered balconies enhance indoor-outdoor connections and residential comfort.
Building Facade Design Proposal 3: Vertical cladding of varying widths and subtle horizontal louvers create a refined rhythm while discreetly screening air-conditioning units.
Building Facade Design Proposal 4: A grid-based screen with mashrabiya-inspired concrete panels integrates balconies and AC covers, creating a contemporary, culturally responsive, and visually rich facade.
"Refinement was key — concealing air-conditioning units, emphasizing vertical rhythm, and crafting façades that feel elegant, contemporary, and rooted in Cairo’s culture and lifestyle."
